A 5-year-old boy with autism.
Developmental delays, unresponsive to questions, and can only repeat isolated words spoken by his parents. He doesn't interact with other children and is mostly self-absorbed. He exhibits aggressive and agitated outbursts when going anywhere. He falls to the floor when dissatisfied, hitting and kicking. He exhibits ritualistic behavior and repetitive movements. He may repeatedly open and close doors. He lacks the concept of "shame." At his first appointment, he simply walked to the corner of the office and peed. His parents' main complaint is that they can't take him anywhere, not even to the store or the park, because of his hyperarousal.
The mother's interview revealed:
The pregnancy and birth were normal, and the child developed normally until he was two years old. He walked on time and began talking. After the DPT vaccine at age two, his psychoemotional development regressed, he stopped speaking in sentences, and became agitated and had bouts of aggression. He refers to all relatives and acquaintances as "Papa Lesha." His mother devotes a lot of attention to her son and spends time with him. She doesn't expect his mental development to improve; she only wants to eliminate his bouts of uncontrollable, aggressive agitation.
Belladonna 200, then 1000 were prescribed.
After two months, the child's behavior became calmer. The mother can take the child to the playground. His agitation attacks are significantly less frequent and milder.
The next prescription was Aluminum Carbonicum 200 (for confusion about his father). After a month, the mother led to an improvement in mental development; the child began recognizing relatives and correctly naming them—mom, grandma, grandpa (not all of them "Lesha's dads").
Six months later, progress continues, but agitation attacks, albeit less severe, still occur. Stramonium 200, then 1000, was prescribed.
Three months later, there are no cases of agitation. He distinguishes colors and names letters.
Monitoring continues. Of course, complete recovery from autism takes several years.
The two main medications that improved the patient's condition were Stramonium and Aluminum carbonicum. Aluminum carbonicum is likely due to the fact that the preservative in the DPT vaccine contains aluminum salts, and the deterioration began after the vaccination.
