CHRONIC PANCREATITIS. TREATMENT WITH HOMEOPATHY

Case 1

Patient L., 40 years old.

Ulcerative colitis, chronic pancreatitis, cholecystitis, depression. Complaints: frequent loose stools up to 15 times a day, pain during bowel movements, spasmodic pain in the solar plexus and lower back. She can barely eat anything – only soups and pureed porridges; anything else causes severe pain. She has undergone multiple courses of treatment at the Institute of Gastroenterology. She has been ill since the age of 18. She describes a difficult life in the village, working hard, "backbreaking" labor from morning until night at her parents' orders. She describes life as joyless. The pain is characterized by constriction and spasm. She felt the same constriction during the CT scan, throughout her body and in her head. She experienced fear and constriction. Her skin is smooth in appearance, but very hard and calloused to the touch. Leg pain worsens with changes in the weather.

A month later, at a doctor's appointment, she was having bowel movements 2-3 times a day, but complained of headaches and depression. Her mood remained low. The same prescription was given (Euphorbium 200 was repeated).

A month later, Euphorbium 1000 was prescribed.

She was having bowel movements twice a day, and pain was very rare.

Six months later, her mood was good, and her diet had expanded significantly. She could even eat raw vegetables and fruits, which she hadn't eaten for ten years.

Treatment continued.

  Case 2

A 49-year-old man presented with complaints of chronic gastritis with high acidity, pancreatitis, chronic duodenitis, cholecystitis, and a hiatal hernia. He also had skin rashes and persistent sore throats. He also experienced chest pain in the bronchi when drinking cold drinks. Cold air and drinking worsened the symptoms. He also had cold hands and feet. Even the slightest dietary inconsistencies led to a sharp deterioration, including diarrhea and pain. He also experienced constant drowsiness. He also experienced knee pain (a feeling of something being caught in the knees, or interfering with the functioning of the spine) after physical exertion. As a child, he was a leader, outgoing, and very fond of cleanliness. It's unpleasant if someone is dirty or unkempt. The slightest scratch on his car can ruin his mood for a long time – "it's not new anymore, it doesn't shine." Everything must be perfect. He is a leader by nature. He runs a small business. He is an active organizer. He loves fatty foods. He gets angry during conflicts. He often fought as a child, even with knives. He works very hard. He is irritable.

Analysis

The patient feels something is wrong inside, not working – the mineral kingdom. He starts fights and gets sore throats – Mercurius. He loves fatty foods and explodes – nitricum. The result – Mercurius nitricum. Sensitivity to cleanliness, the desire to shine, a constant struggle for it, aggravated by the slightest cold – Acidum chromicum.

First prescription – Acidum chromicum 200.

After two months, his health improved, no diarrhea, no heartburn, no pain. However, he is very irritable and often "explodes" at work. Mercurius nitricum 200 was added, then 1M.

After another two months, the irritability has gone away. Drowsiness is significantly reduced.

After another four months, there is no pain or diarrhea. The mood is good. The skin spots remain. A possible

next prescription is Chlorum due to frequent swimming. Observation continues.
